Master of Science in Agricultural Extension

The programme is offered by the Department of Agricultural Education and Extension, under the Faculty of Post Graduate Studies, at the Luyengo Campus.

The M.Sc. in Agricultural  Extension will be by course work and thesis. A total of 26 contact hours over one year, will have to be completed and distributed as follows

          (a) 14 hours in the major subject, Agricultural Extension

          (b) 12 hours in the minor subject, Animal Science and Crop Science

In addition, a thesis must be completed in accordance with General Regulations. The normal duration of the Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Extension will be two years of full-time or three years of part-time study. Courses include:

                    Agricultural Economics and Management

                    Agricultural Extension

                    Crop Production

                    Animal Production
