Qualifications and Experience: 

• A PhD in Agricultural Economics or related field.
• Teaching experience at University Level.
• Extensive Research as attested by publications.


1. To teach Post-Graduate and Undergraduate courses in Agricultural Economics including but not limited to:
   - Macroeconomics
   -International Trade; and
   -Agricultural Finance and Risk;
2. To supervise Masters Theses and Undergraduate students’ research projects;
3. To conduct research in the discipline; and
4. To engage in Community Service.

Appointment Terms: 

Local Candidates
Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; 10% Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing allowance and Medical Aid contribution.
Expatriate Candidates
Two-year contract with a possibility for renewal by mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance plus Gratuity, 10% Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing/Housing Allowance, Medical Aid contribution and relocation expenses.
