My main research interests revolve around the ecology and conservation of vertebrates, mammals in particular. I am currently working on:

  • Small mammals at Mlawula Nature Reserve
  • Ectoparasites and endoparasites of small mammals

I am involved with conservation planning in Swaziland at several different levels (e.g. baseline data collection; GIS analyses; development of strategies and action plans). Consequently, I was part of a team that investigated the spatial distribution of biodiversity assets in the country.

I work with various committees and task teams that deal with environmental and conservation issues in the country.
